I'm Romina Romero, a Venezuelan translator based in Uruguay.
I walk the extra mile for you to have a great translation.
I am a professional woman who has a passion for education. In previous years, I have taught Spanish, developed Spanish-speaking markets, and translated a wide variety of English content for businesses. With a degree in History and years of extensive experience in early childhood education, I have expanded my passion for digital education and technology.
I am an English-Spanish certified Argentinian translator. I am a graduated from a very prestigious university in my country: the National University of Córdoba, Argentina. I offer translation, subtitling and post-editing services. I have experience with different fields: e-commerce, medical and technical translation. I work with Trados, Wordfast and I can learn any other cat tool to satisfy my client's need.
After I finished my bachelor degree in Modern Languages specialized in translation in Venezuela, I worked as a translator for one year and half. However, after several years working in the management and banking field, I decided to start again in my passion: working with languages. For the past two years I have been working as a freelance translator, but this time with a different perspective and knowledge provided by the master in translation I’m currently doing in the University of Lisbon.
