Born and raised in Oxford, UK, I fell in love with languages from an early age and went on to specialise in Spanish and Portuguese for my BA and MA degrees in the UK, writing my dissertation in Portuguese. After graduation I worked in the BBC Brazilian section for several years and acted as a translator and interpreter on several documentaries filmed in Latin America. I have spent extended periods in Brazil and Spanish speaking America and currently reside in Israel.
Award-winning translator and copywriter, winner of the 2017 Wiener Library Award. I have worked several projects for various clients, including academics at the University of Manchester and eCommerce business in Germany. I am also a copywriter and publicity manager in theatre, most recently for Manchester-based company Harry T. Thompson Productions.
I have a Masters degree in Portuguese, Spanish, and Italian language and literature. I work as an interpreter and translator with the arts, tourism, medical interpretation, and for social programs.
Bilingual Portuguese/English translator. I offer both text and audio translation.
I am from the south of England but have learnt my foreign languages living in countries where they are spoken (Spain, France and Brazil). I have been translating for over 10 years and as a Conference Interpreter for 4 years. I also work in tourism and education, which are two of my specialist fields.
