I have been working as a language teacher (both privately and publicly) for over five years. I teach English and Italian - both my native tongues (I am bilingual). Furthermore, I have also translated such documents as birth certificates, culinary guides and travel brochures from Italian to English and English to Italian. I am currently a drama and theatre arts student at university in London.
I translate papers and books for Italian authors, mainly in academia. My most recent book translation will be published by Brill in late 2020/early 2021. I also specialize in journalism/news/opinion writing.
I have a Masters degree in Portuguese, Spanish, and Italian language and literature. I work as an interpreter and translator with the arts, tourism, medical interpretation, and for social programs.
I am a polyglot and a state-certified translator for German-English-German. I studied translation with the specialization science and medicine at the SDI in Munich and afterwards a Bachelors degree in general and Indo-Germanic linguistics at the LMU in Munich.
My goal is to provide the highest quality translations based on a thorough understanding of the source text, excellent writing skills and meticulous attention to detail. I hold a B.S. in experimental psychology and have been studying and speaking Italian on a daily basis for over 16 years. I have been working as a full-time translator since 2007.
