I am a sworn translator for the Dutch and Romanian languages, born in Romania and living in the Netherlands for the past (almost) thirty years. As much as I still feel at home in my hometown Timisoara, I also love the Dutch language and culture and everything that sums up my life in my adoptive country: my family, my work, my friends.
In Romania I completed my high school education before moving to Holland. In Holland I did what I thought necessary to qualify for the jobs I wanted at the time. At last, in 2017 I came around doing what I should have done a long time ago and got certified as a translator for the Dutch and Romanian languages.
I come from a bilingual family of several language teachers. From early childhood I got used to the sounds of a couple of European languages. When I moved to the Netherlands, I had the desire and ambition to grow into this beautiful language and make it my own. I think I did a pretty good job!
