XXX realiza una colección especial de hombre y mujer para el Otoño-Invierno 2014/2015 en colaboración con el diseñador inglés Simon Halloway. Calidad y estilo, inspiraciones clásicas y modernas se unen dando vida a una Capsule Collection en la que la sastrería minimalista, los tejidos refinados y las inspiraciones que evocan las atmósferas londinenses de los años 60 y 70 se convierten en los verdaderos protagonistas.

Qualità e stile, ispirazioni classiche e moderne si uniscono dando vita ad una capsule collection in cui il minimalismo sartoriale, i tessuri ricercati e raffinati e le ispirazioni che evocano le atmosfere londinesi degli anni 60 e 70 diventano gli assoluti protagonisti.

The ozone is a layer of the atmosphere which is situated at a height between 20 and 50 kilometers above sea level, where the ultraviolet rays coming from the sun are absorbed. Should they reach the earth's surface in larger quantities, they would be really harmful for the mankind and the overall life. The chlorofluorocarbons that men put in the atmosphere caused chemical reactions between the chlorine and the ozone (which is a molecule made up of 3 atoms of oxigen) and destroyed it. Then, these substances were banned by the Montreal Protocol in 1987. In the last few years, several representatives of the scientific word have claimed that this initiative enables the reconstruction of the atmospheric ozone. In fact, it is expected to come back to the levels registered in the '70s in a few decades. However, now a recent study has shown that the gases which produce the greenhouse effect on our planet interfere considerably with the reconstruction of the ozone layer. What will happen in the next few years is not clear at all.

L’ozono è una fascia dell’atmosfera posta tra i 20 e i 50 km di quota dove vengono assorbiti i raggi ultravioletti provenienti dal Sole, i quali, se arrivassero in maggiori quantità sulla superficie terrestre, sarebbero assai dannosi per l’uomo e per la vita in generale. Erano stati i CFC (cloroflurocarburi) immessi dall’uomo nell’atmosfera a provocare reazioni chimiche tra il cloro e l’ozono (che è una molecula composta da 3 atomi di ossigeno) distruggendolo. Poi con il Protocollo di Montreal, nel 1987, tali sostanze vennero messe al bando. Negli ultimi anni da più parti, nel mondo scientifico, si sostiene che tale iniziativa stia permettendo la ricostruzione dell’ozono atmosferico, tant’è che le previsioni sostengono che entro pochi decenni esso dovrebbe tornare a livelli che si registravano prima degli anni ’70.
Ma ora un recente studio dimostra come i gas che producono l’effetto serra sul nostro pianeta interferiscono notevolmente con la ricostruzione della fascia d’ozono e quel che succederà nei prossimi anni non è del tutto chiaro.
