After I graduated in technical and press translation, I worked as a technical translator for the leather and shoe industry (machines' instructions for use); I also worked for the cinema and the telecommunications sector among others. These days I have also worked for another translation Internet platform and translated a few novels (I have very high notes). I can translate from both English and Italian into French.
I'm a literary translator, able to translate literature such as poetry, novels, or newspaper articles, which are my specialities. I translate with care and quickly !
Of Italian origin, I have lived, studied and worked in France, England and Spain and am currently living in Paris. I am really passionate about languages and have been cultivating my translation skills not only as a translator but also as a market research professional. Besides academic texts pertaining to social sciences, I also translate marketing reports and surveys.
I began translating theology in 1987 and, since 2009, work in Rome for the Vatican and various church organizations, including the Polish Bishops' Conference. My main fields are theology, the Catholic magisterium, and Canon Law but also spirituality and patristics. My translations published in French include A. Grillmeier's "Le Christ dans la tradition chrétienne"; Timothy Radcliffe "Que vote joie soit parfaite"; Carl Anderson "Notre-Dame de Guadalupe"; S. Hauerwas "Le Royaume de la Paix".
My fields of expertise are miscellaneous: I can translate tourism texts, training courses materials, theses, sports and leisure related texts, video games, e-commerce and literary texts (books, short stories, tales..). I am proficient in English, French, Italian and still learning Korean. I work quickly and efficiently and am not afraid of deadlines.
