I am a retired translator and chief secretary of the Free University Berlin. I have worked 40 years in this business (psychopharmacology, forensic psychiatry, social psychiatry, neurobiology, oncology). I am professional at German, French, and English. I am able to translate literature as well as manuals of all kinds.
Halfway in my career with many long stays abroad, I am happily trying to leverage a 20-year-long experience in International Cultural Cooperation, Training and Translation for the benefit of professionals and citizens dealing with multicultural environments.
I grew up in Luxembourg, the country where everyone speaks at least 4 languages. After studying in the Netherlands and Austria, I added English and German to French and Luxembourgish as the languages I speak, write and dream in.
I am a French native speaker with a passion for foreign languages and cultures, mastering English, German as well as Japanese. I have valuable experience in the financial and industrial sector. I am an efficient and rigorous worker with successful results as translator in my previous jobs.
