I am a freelance translator working from France. As my native language is Brazilian Portuguese, I translate towards it from English, Spanish, French and Norwegian, but I am also well equipped to translate texts in any of these languages into English or French (as proven by my C2 Proficiency certificate from the University of Cambridge and my DALF C2 certificate from the French Ministry of Education). From translating experience I am well versed in medical and architectural language, as well as my own academic domain of linguistics and literature (with a focus on literary criticism and creative writing). I have also worked on subtitles, closed captioning, and a variety of deliverables for movies, documentaries and the like.
I have a degree in Languages, literature and cultures English studies and a PhD in Translation Studies.
I am a master student and an English teacher, and I can deliver a good work in a short time.
