I was born in Germany with a British father. After training as an International Tourism Assistant, I worked for a tour operator and in a travel agency for several years. I then studied Cultural Anthropology and worked at a publishing house and the Frankfurt Book fair. Since 2011, I've been working as a freelance copywriter, editor and translator, specializing in texts for hotels and restaurants. I recently trained in online and inbound marketing with HubSpot, witing content for SME websites.
Foreign languages have always fascinated me. Extended stays in the Netherlands and Spain, travelling as an artist and living in a multicultural city like Berlin enabled me to constantly keep in touch with foreigners whilst practising their languages. In my original profession as a visual artist, I am also speaking various types of language – be it colourful, intricately shaped, audiovisual or textured.
