I'm Kris Thielemans, a bilingual translator with more than 20 years experience translating, localising, editing, and writing in English and Dutch (Flemish). Due to my background as an MA in philosophy and art history, I've specialised in the translation of academic work in the humanities and social sciences. I’ve also enjoyed writing and translating for artists and art projects, and about games and gaming. My favourite literary genres are fantasy and science fiction.
I immigrated to Israel from the US about five years ago. I recently received my B.Sc. in mechanical engineering from the Technion and now work for the IDF. My experience is mainly in translating and polishing academic papers and theses from Hebrew to English.
Clare is an international wordsmith. She obtained a degree in English from the University of Cambridge and has since lived and worked in London, Brussels, Barcelona and the South of France.
