I have been studying and using languages for more than ten years and it has always been my biggest passion. I had a technical background, I went to a college in Italy where the main subjects were IT, Electronics and Mechanics. Then I worked for a few years as a Web Designer. In 2008 I started my new career path towards foreign languages. In 2011 I graduated in Modern Languages at the University di Verona in Italy. During and after my studies I lived in France, Spain, and South America and USA for a few years. I moved to the UK in 2014 and here in Manchester, I found my home away from home. In 2019 obtained a MA in Translation and Interpreting at the University of Manchester. I have been working at Booking.com for many years, and my last job role was translation management and language solutions expert. Thanks to that and my experience in the translation field, I have grown comfortable with the use of CAT tools.
