My background has been shaped by a strong interest in foreign languages, which has allowed me to gain relevant, international experience in the fields of translation, teaching, interpretation, communication and event management. My areas of expertise include EU affairs, automotive, human rights, marketing, social economy, among others. For 20 years I have been freelancing as a translator & interpreter with two pairs of languages (English, Italian>Spanish) and as a proofreader and editor. I also have 5 years of experience in Portuguese>Spanish and I'm currently training in German>Spanish
Besides, I have worked as a lexicographer developing Spanish dictionaries for a well-known Argentinean publishing house. A member of three professional associations (IAPTI, AATI, and PLECA), I also teach a literary translation workshop at a local bookshop. In addition, I have also worked as a TV host and a journalist.
Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, from Italian parents, I'm kind of a rare breed: a language-loving bookworm who also loves sports. A bookish four-eyes who also swims and runs—a runnerd (a nickname that for some reason I really enjoy). I am a translator in English, French, and Spanish.
