For 20 years I have been freelancing as a translator & interpreter with two pairs of languages (English, Italian>Spanish) and as a proofreader and editor. I also have 5 years of experience in Portuguese>Spanish and I'm currently training in German>Spanish
Besides, I have worked as a lexicographer developing Spanish dictionaries for a well-known Argentinean publishing house. A member of three professional associations (IAPTI, AATI, and PLECA), I also teach a literary translation workshop at a local bookshop. In addition, I have also worked as a TV host and a journalist.
Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, from Italian parents, I'm kind of a rare breed: a language-loving bookworm who also loves sports. A bookish four-eyes who also swims and runs—a runnerd (a nickname that for some reason I really enjoy).
An experienced translator in a wide range of areas, including technical, literary, audiovisual and video games, I am passionate about languages and the intricacies of syntax and semantics. I am not only methodical, but extremely professional and always reliable.
Regarding CAT Tools, most of my experience has to do with MemoQ, OmegaT and Sfera, but I am a quick learner and capable of getting the hang of a new software in no time.
