Hi, My name is Elena, and I'm an Italian freelance translator and EU accredited conference interpreter specialized in EU politics and legal translation. I work from English, German, French and Portuguese into Italian. I graduated in 1994 as a teacher in Italy. Initially, and for the first 4 years I worked as a special education teacher for disabled children of various age, from elementary grades to high school grades. Since 2000, I began my decade experience in teaching Italian to foreign children and their parents. I have a history of creating programs for interactive learning of the TPR.

The way the system is set up here, it allows me to only say that I translate from English to Italian, but obviously I can do the reverse, being that I'm well versed in both languages and teach both for a living. I didn't check ALL areas of expertise but I'm interested in the challenge of ANY of them.
My rate is negotiable if you're on a budget, particularly if your project interests me. I prefer loose deadlines but I'll take a tight one if I have the time. I have 44 five-star references.
