Mother of 4 kids, I was born and raised in Lyon, France. I have roots in Burgundy but I did live abroad most of my career so far : USA, France, Belgium. Now settled in Brussels, I really like travelling and discovering things beyond tour books. I did an engineering school and did work in the automotive industry for some years. Then, I did set up a French school while in Charlotte, NC, USA and I founded a company while in Paris “Invited in Paris” in order to help travelers feels like home and enjoy Paris with an insider. Now, from Brussels, I do teach French as a foreign language and do English to French translation.

I studied social sciences and law and obtained 2 master degrees in these fields. Then, I worked 10 years in consumer protection both in the French consumer authority and in the European Commission (DG Justice and Consumers) as a lawyer. I worked on EU legislation and its implementation in the different EU members States, working with national authorities on common enforcement action and investigations.
I therefore developed my expertise in Consumer legislation (B2C contracts) and in Consumer affairs in general, in particular regarding car rentals and airlines, social media (advertisement, data protection), booking platforms, e-commerce, time share contracts and holidays rentals. I have a solid knowledge in investigation powers and procedural law.
