My mother tongue is English and I have lived in France for 30 years with experience in business, public administration and sports. As part of a varied career I most recently worked as a salaried translator for 5 years then as a freelance translator since 2016.
Since then I have translated software user manuals, social network content for Bocuse d'Or, Pastry World Cup, Capfruit, Paysalia, Rocalia. I have translated blog posts, environmental manifestos, packaging, marketing presentations, business proposals, tourism-related brochures and magazines, websites, and I have subtitled sports videos (climbing in particular)... I love the variety this work has to offer.
If you think your text deserves to be translated by a human being, I look forward to hearing from you.
Hello! I’m looking for supplementary work on the side. I work as a translator already and enjoy it so much. I deal with many different texts as the company I work for is a startup.
More than 10 years translation experience. Master's degree in Technical and Specialised Translation. Master's degree in Information Technology. Studied food/wine and tourism in Italy. In a previous life, I was a dancer.
I am from the south of England but have learnt my foreign languages living in countries where they are spoken (Spain, France and Brazil). I have been translating for over 10 years and as a Conference Interpreter for 4 years. I also work in tourism and education, which are two of my specialist fields.
Franco-Btritish, and raised in South Africa, albeit with French schooling, I am perfectly bilingual in French and English, both being my native tongues. I have acquired experience as a translator in both languages and in various fields. I can work with technical terms and always thoroughly research the subject first. Proofreading is my strong point as my writing skills are excellent in both languages.
