I worked many years in Israel as an electronic engineering in Motorola and Intel. In 2016, I moved to editing and translation and technical writing. I am also the Technical Editor for the IEEE standard for the SystemVerilog Hardware and Verification Language. I did technical writing and editing for Leviticus-Cardio, a Petah Tikva company developing an innovative power transmission system for heart devices. And I translated Bagrut exams from Hebrew to English in math and sciences for the Education Mininstry.
I work in FrameMaker as well as in Word. I have worked on DTP in FrameMaker for Smart-Localization Ltd. on documents translated into 7 languages

I grew up speaking both English and Spanish as my family moved between the US, Guatemala, and Mexico. I graduated with an M. Sc. in Geophysics from the University of Oklahoma and worked in the upstream oil and gas industry for 14 years. After the downturn in 2015-2016, translation became a natural career change.
My freelance career is founded on my experience and in-depth knowledge of the need to communicate information in a precise and timely manner. I've worked with oil and gas independent operators, service companies, and reserves certification companies where accuracy in the translated material is of the utmost importance.
